New Beginnings
December 11, 2019 marked a brand new place for me. I underwent Bypass surgery. My highest weight was 415, I lost down to 185 in 2012, but then between 2014 and 2019 I gained enough weight that I was back over 300 pounds. It took me a long time to make the decision to have surgery because my brain always said it was the easy way out. However after research and talking to many others that have had the surgery I realized that it was a tool and if I used it correctly it would assist in losing weight but I would have the same work to do. I will need to weigh and measure my food, record what I eat, keep track of drinking and exercise. I will have to do work in order for this tool to do its job. This is a documentation of my journey.
